
Adult and Community Education
Adult and Community Education offers a variety of credit, non-credit, and continuing workforce education classes, day and evening, at over 150 locations throughout Hillsborough County. While the CARIBE Program targets Cuban, Haitian, and other eligible entrants, all qualified residents of Hillsborough County are entitled to free ABE, ESOL, or GED classes at a location close to their home. For information about classes in your area call: (813) 740-7750Hillsborough County Public Schools Programs for Limited English Proficient (LEP) Students: offers multi-faceted services to the District's Pre K-12 and adult students who are learning English as a second language. Provided services include intensive English instruction, academic support, native language assistance, bilingual psychological, social, and counseling services, cultural orientation, mentoring, tutoring and family literacy.
