The success of the CARIBE Refugee Program is the result of a dedicated and highly-trained professional instructional staff and close partnerships with local and state service providers. These combined factors result in unequaled student recruitment, student retention, cultural adaptation, family literacy, and student success.

The Program was made possible through grant funding from the Refugee Services Administration, a division of the Florida Department of Children and Families in Tallahassee. This partnership brought the CARIBE Program into membership in the Tampa Bay Area Refugee Task Force, a coalition of local service providers to share information relating to refugee issues. The ultimate goal of the Task Force is to provide “Good Customer Service” and referral opportunities to all local refugees and entrants.
